ATLANTA – (November 27, 2007) – Saint Joseph’s Hospital has opened the Medical Group of Saint Joseph’s at Cowles Clinic, at Oak Cottage, Suite 0-300. The medical group specializes in medical diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Nicolas Chronos, MD, Stephen Frohwein, MD, and Gregory Ang, MD, board-certified cardiologists, have been seeing patients for several years in the area. Three long-time residents of the community - Sharon Postell, RN, Krystal Brown & Tess Van Malsen – have also joined the practice. .

In addition to their dedication to patient care, Dr. Chronos and Dr. Frohwein are recognized for their cardiology leadership. Dr. Frohwein serves as the medical director of advanced cardiovascular imaging at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta and Dr. Chronos, internationally recognized for his work in research and clinical trials, serves as the president of the Saint Joseph’s Translational Research Institute.
